Hyperspermia Symptoms: What It Means for Male Fertility

Hyperspermia is a condition in which a man produces a larger than the normal volume of semen per ejaculate. This is a less common condition and not much research has been done in this area. This condition generally does not affect a man's health but it can sometimes lower his fertility.

When a man produces a high volume of semen, there are chances he may have low sperm count which can lead to infertility. Sexual abstinence is said to be the reason that leads to this condition. The long gaps between sexual activities can lead to the accumulation of dead and inactive sperms which are incapable of fertilizing the egg.

Following are some of the hyperspermia symptoms:

High sexual drive: The sexual urges of men with hyperspermia maybe higher than normal.

Pain after ejaculation: Men with hyperspermia find it hard to ejaculate as the volume of semen is thick or concentrated. This can lead to unbearable pain while ejaculating.

Delay in ejaculation: Patients experience a delay in reaching orgasm due to the thick consistency of semen.

Sperm color: The sperm discharged in men with hyperspermia will be yellow or off-white

Dizziness and Fatigue: Patients take a longer time than usual to ejaculate which makes them tired, weak and even dizzy.

Breathlessness: Men with hyperspermia may experience breathing trouble for some time after ejaculation.

The stretchiness of penis: Another symptom experienced by patients with this condition is the stretchiness or tightness of penis during or while ejaculating.

Presence of thin semen: At the end of every ejaculation, one may experience the presence of thin semen.

Impotency or erectile dysfunction: Over the course of time, patients with hyperspermia may find it difficult to get an erection. This can lead to poor erection and male infertility.
